Bella the Explorer

Bella is OBSESSED with Dora the Explorer. She spends ALOT of time pretending she is Dora and going on adventure after adventure. The other day we got home from school and we were getting ready for quiet time and she asked me if she could dress up like Dora. I said sure and this was our conversation:::(oh, she was wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants at the time)

BELLA: "um, mom, Dora doesn't wear long sleeves. Can I wear a short sleeve shirt?"

ME: "sure"

BELLA: "great!"
(goes in her room and puts on a shirt, comes back)

BELLA: "um, mom, Dora doesn't wear pants. Can I wear shorts?

ME: "Sure"

BELLA: "ok"
(goes in her room and puts on shorts, comes back)

BELLA: "um, mom, (holding a pink shirt with a sheep on it) Dora's shirt doesn't have a sheep on it. Can I put is on backwards?"

Me: "sure"

After adding her backpack and yellow bracelet she was set! She was so proud of herself and then she was off into imagination land!!!!

My Little Gymnast

Charlie has been taking gymnastics for about four months now. I use the term gymnastics very loosely, he runs around in circles and hangs from anything that looks like fun hanging from and runs on the trampoline!
I have recently been able to talk him into jumping into the foam pit and walking on the balance beam and actually yesterday he participated in parachute time!!!!


He absolutely loves his teacher Daniel. Daniel reminds me a lot of Charlie, he is quiet and shy like Charlie. Charlie always likes to talk to him and sometimes will do what Daniel asks of him...

I am really writing this post so I can show off some cute pictures of the little guy!!

Oh, and this particular class he was able to participate and stay dry on his 5th day of potty training!!! Go Charlie!!!
